About the Recipe
This sweet potato casserole is a staple at Thanksgiving. It is absolutely delicious!

Ingredients
3 cups cooked sweet potato (4-5) or canned yams
1/4 cup melted butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp vanilla
Nut Topping:
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (I like doing 1/2 cup of each)
Preparation
In large mixing bowl combine all ingredients minus the nut topping together
Pour the mixture into a baking dish (I prefer 8 inch)
In a separate bowl combine the nut topping ingredients together into a crumbly texture
Sprinkle the nut mixture over the sweet potato mixture
Bake at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes
