About the Recipe
This creamy mashed potato recipe is the perfect side dish for any meal. Enjoy!

Ingredients
5 LB bag gold or butter potatoes
1 stick unsalted butter
1 package cream cheese
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt (add more for table)
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Preparation
Peel potatoes, cut into halves & quarters
Fill stock pot w/ potatoes & enough water to cover, add salt to water
Bring to boil
Reduce heat to mid boil 25 minutes or so- enough for fork to go through potatoes
Drain potatoes & let sit while adding butter to mixer. Add potatoes
Mix potatoes, butter, milk
Add cream cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder
Mix until creamy- Do not overmix!
