Look no further! This creamy mac and cheese recipe is sure to satisfy your cravings. With a rich, cheesy sauce and tender pasta, it's the perfect comfort dish for any occasion.

Ingredients
1 LB elbow pasta
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 cups milk
2 1/2 cups half & half cream
4 cups shredded cheddar
2 cups shredded gruyere
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp mustard powder
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325*
Grease 3 qt. baking dish
Boil pasta in salt water until al dente. Strain and either melt a pad of butter in or drizzle with a bit of olive oil to keep pasta from sticking together.
Melt butter in large sauce pan and sprinkle flour into the pan.
Whisk 1 minute to combine the butter & flour
Add 2 cups of half of the milk & half of the cream. Whisk until smooth, pour in remaining milk & cream
Whisk until thickened to a very thick consistency.
Remove from heat. Stir in spices.
I recommend shredding a few blocks of cheddar by hand. Combine 3 cups of the shredded cheeses with the creamy mixture.
Pour half of the pasta mixture into the baking dish. Top with 1 1/2 cup of shredded cheese mix.
Top with remaining pasta and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake for 15 until golden and bubbling
